Having a tea spoon in your make up bag IS NOT a Peruvian thing!
i know right ? me too.
i asked some of my aunts about it. one of them held up her spoon and was like:
“i don’t know i saw my cousin had one. now i have one. its small. and hey *shrug* it gets the job done. right?”
lol @ the fact that at one point my aunts couldn’t afford eyelash curlers and now that they can they still like their spoons =P
so ive come to the conclusion it’s a poor-thing not yet ghetto.
to labeling things! cheers!(salud)

The festival of Inti Raymi, which honors the sun-god, now attracts thousands of tourists each year to Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Inca empire.
The festival of Inti was held during the winter solstice, which was around June 24 in the Incan Empire. The festival was held in Cuzco and was attended by the four sectors of Tahuantinsuyu. InQuechua, Inti Raimi, means “resurrection of the sun” or “the way/path of the sun.” Military captains, government officials, and the vassals who attended were dressed in their best costumes, and carried their best weapons and instruments.
Preparation for the festival of Inti Raymi began with a fast of three days, where also during those days there was no fire lit and the people refrained from sexual intercourse. This festival itself would last nine days, and during this time the people consumed massive amounts of food and drink. There were many sacrifices as well which were all performed on the first day. After the nine days everyone would leave with the permission of the Inca back to their states.

This Incredible specimen of giant freshwater stingray was caught near Oran, Peru Lower Amazon River region. She weighed in at 154lb over 4ft long including her short tail. We were fishing on the point of two rivers combining when she sucked the live bait directly into her mouth. She managed to swim a distance until it became like a rock at the bottom of the river.
